Our History:

1963- The Coffee Bean® opened 1st store in California by Herb & Mona Hyman – selling whole bean coffee and loose leaf tea
Early 1980’s – The Coffee Bean® expanded to multi-store specialty chain selling coffee & tea beverages
Mid 1980’s – The Coffee Bean® invents the Ice Blended® beverage responsible for the worldwide frappe craze
1996 - 1st International Franchise – Open 1st store in Singapore under license
2002－1st The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Open in Shanghai at Hongqiao City Centre.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf was established on 1963. We are the world famous and largest coffee bean chain store which we distribute and roast the coffee bean ourself; import top grade coffee and tea leaf from all around the world.
